I’m very interested in using Pixy to sense an object that has a 1D barcode on it. Something like a printed receipt. I have read that Pixy does not interpret the barcode, what I’m looking for is something that finds the barcode in the field of view and reports its findings to my Arduino. My software would then examine the barcode object and interpret the barcode.
Can you tell me if this is in the future of Pixy or how would I go about solving this problem with the current Pixy?

Thanks for the message. I asked around and we don’t seem to have any concrete plans for detecting and decoding barcodes using Pixy. You might consider writing your own firmware. We have a firmware discussion group here:
