Hey Backers, Hackers, Educators, Engineers,
This is an open invitation to those interested in collaborating. The Pixy project is fully open-- open software, open hardware, which is a big win for everyone that uses a Pixy. Charmed Labs and Carnegie Mellon are the first two partners, you’re the third!
Your handiwork will be incorporated into the project. You’ll be consulted for your expertise after it releases. And you’ll be compensated — we can talk more about that part— drop me a note (rich a t charmedlabs d o t com)
We need help mostly on the software side of things, particularly platform support (Raspberry Pi, Intel Galileo, TI launchpad, others) If you are familiar with one of these platforms and have good programming skills, you can write a Pixy interface class for the platform and a “hello world” demo program that users can compile to get started quickly.
Also, if you plan on adding something to the project (many have sent their ideas), share your thoughts/ideas/plans— we can probably help.
thanks!
