Camera color saturation seems poor

The color saturation of the images generated by the pixy camera seem poor. If I compare the colors taken by my cell phone camera with the Pixy camera under the same lighting conditions (no flash), I see that the colors from the Pixy camera are much more subdued (less saturated). Since the object recognition depends on the hue and saturation, having washed out images is undesirable. Is there some way to adjust the Pixy camera settings to improve the captured color saturation?

Hi John,

You can find a few ways to configure the white balance and lighting by typing “help” in to the Pixymon console while your Pixy is connected. You can also look “here”:https://github.com/charmedlabs/pixy/blob/1e76c9895ef32a1554736c544ad9ebcb80a24133/device/libpixy/camera.cpp for some descriptions of those commands.
