Can Pixy2 track a fish (or any object) in a tank of water?

I’m interested in getting a Pixy2 to try and track the position of a fish in a tank. I would use a brightly colored fish, and a high contrast background.

My main concern is that the way the water refracts light will result in the fish appearing a slightly different color depending on time of day and position in the tank, making it difficult to track. Has anyone tried tracking an object in water?

I placed a little red gear in my white cup with water. Pixy pick it up pretty easily.

Hello,
I think that as long as the water is reasonably clear and the fish has a decent hue (not white, black or gray), Pixy should have no problem tracking it
