Couting unknown objects moving in channel

I have grey and multicoloured recycling packing moving in a fixed constant lighted channel. I dont know what exactly this packaging is. I read a lot of pixycam must know a coloured hue, but can it detect absense of coloured hue.

Can I program pixycam to detect some foreign object moving against a featureless black or white background.

Hi, this is not possible with Pixy. It recognizes colors that you teach it. It cannot automatically recognize colors.

You can still do it by analyzing the array of colors sent by Pixy but I’m not sure that Pixy is the best for this usage
