There is now a new Scratch version for Lego Mindstorms.
Does Pixy 2 also support this?

We do not have support for Scratch currently. We are gathering information though and hope to have some info in the coming month or so.

We’ve been unable to make the transition to the new environment. However’, we have recently added support for Python and LEGO that we are close to announcing:

First, thank you for your efforts regarding pixy2 and ev3-support!

We’ve been unable to make the transition to the new environment.

Does this mean this is a dead end for the development or are you still trying to make it work?

Hello,
We haven’t given up, but we don’t have a plan for how to make things work with the new version. LEGO has made it difficult (impossible?) to add custom sensors to the new environment. It’s possible to emulate an existing sensor, but the result will be some loss in functionality. But we’re open to ideas, suggestions and possibly contracting with someone who can help.

The Python support for LEGO is exciting because it has all of the functionality of the Arduino API instead of a cut-down simplified API. (Our existing LEGO API for the older environment is simplified.)
