Getting higher fps

Hi,

As pixy can run up to 50 Hz, I wonder if there is a way to get pixy to pic up more frames per second (100hz). Is there a way that can modify the software to increase the frames on the expense of resolution? Also, I wonder if there is a hardware solution for that? Thanks a lot.

Hello Mostafa,
Pixy’s image sensor ends up being the limiting factor. There is no way to get a faster framerates out of the image sensor regardless of the resolution. The processor could probably handle more frames given an efficient algorithm.

What is your application? (just curious!)
