Heat question U12

Hi,
I have measured the temperature on U12, the VCC_3.3V LDO. I measure 55 degree C when put on my table. I am worried that when I put the PIXYcam in a box, the heat and temperature will increase.
Is there a way to reduce the temperature e.g. with cpu pasta or?

Hello,
The regulator does dissipate a decent amount of heat. Its normal operating temperature is up to 85 degrees C. Putting Pixy in a box shouldn’t affect things much. :slight_smile:
