I just installed the IR lock to my Pixy and am trying to install the most recent IR firmware, but when I do this I get this:
There is a more recent firmware version (2.0.8) available.
Your Pixy is running firmware version 1.0.3.
I have the most updated Pixymon installed. Am I missing something or is the firmware not compatible with the latest version of Pixymon?

Hello Samantha,
I’m not sure what version of PixyMon IR-lock is using. It may work with an older version of PixyMon than 2.0.x, but you should check with them.
What’s happening with the message is PixyMon is seeing the version of the installed firmware (1.0.3) and seeing a newer version of the firmware in the installation directory (typically “C:\Program Files (x86)\PixyMon\bin”).
