Hi guys,
Can you Mac folks out there give this pixymon build a try?

In particular, this build tries to fix instability and OSX compatibility issues. (But the issues are very OSX version dependent, and we only have 2 OSX versions to test with!)

Hi Rich,

this Version does a good job on my Retina Macbook Pro with Mavericks installed.

But i am still not able to update the firmware (stuck with 1.43) because the “Cannot find Pixy DFU device”-Error.
Tested on 3 Macs (2 Macbook Pro and 1 iMac, all on Mavericks) and PC with Windows 7 - same error on every try:

Pixy programming state detected.
error: Cannot find Pixy DFU device.

I hope this will be fixed soon.

Hi Heiko,
When you see the message “Pixy programming state detected” the white LED turns off, yes?

But in all cases (Mac, Windows) PixyMon runs fine otherwise?

Hi Rich,

when i hold down the white button, plug in the usb to my mac the white LED stays always on.
Then i start PixyMon (as stated in the Wiki) and the error message shows up.

Everything else works fine.

Hi Heiko,
I made some changes in the way the upload device gets enumerated. Please give this version of PixyMon a try, let me know if firmware upload mode behaves differently:
