maximum block format for one tracked object

I read the Pixy can detected 135 objects per frame (Pixy processes at 50 frames per second.) , thus providing theoretically 6,700 block formats.

Can I just capture all 6700 blocks for ONE OBJECT alone in flash memory, then later export for processing?

Thank you for your time.

Alex

Hello Alexander,
I’m not sure about the numbers, but Pixy can track hundreds of objects with up to 7 color signatures simultaneously and provide the detected objects in real-time.

There is some useful information here:

Hope this helps!

I am trying to use the pixy as a high speed camera, but don’t need to capture the image. A BB will be fired and I wish to record it’s x-y coordinates (6000+ blocks of data), then at a later time, have this data graphed in Processing (y coordinate can be calculated after calibration and knowing the original size of the BB, which is 6 mm). The timing will be controlled by an Arduino. Can I replace the pixy camera sensor with a 1080p ((OV5642) 1080P/30 Optical size 1/4))?
Thank you very much for your time.
