I just received my Pixy and Pan/Tilt mechanism and I’m in the process of assembling the unit. Things came to a halt when I realized that I didn’t have the 2 nylon bushings that make up the hinge. How can I get a pair of them?
Meanwhile, here’s some feedback on the assembly instructions (http://cmucam.org/projects/cmucam5/wiki/Assembling_pantilt_Mechanism) and packaging. Not in any order.
Right before step one, there’s a diagram of the various fasteners. What’s missing is a parts list of everything that should be there and their quantity.
Step 11 says to take all 5 right angle brackets. My hardware came in two plastic bag - one in each box (Pixy and Pan/Tilt). Each had 4 right angle brackets for a total of 8. Luckily this means I have at least 5 but somehow I don’t think this was the intended outcome!
