Not sure if Pixy2 is suitable for my application

Hi,

I’m looking into Pixy2 as a possible detection solution for my project. I do not have a particular object to train it, but what I need is to detect an adversary on a ring. The adversary is usually black, but it can vary.

Do you think Pixy2 could be a possible solution and how would I train it for such a task?

Wow! That’s an intense and impressive competition!

Pixy uses hue/color to detect objects. Unfortunately, black and white doesn’t have any hue/color for Pixy to use for detection. If the opponents have a particular color, Pixy could be an effective adversary detector.
