I was wondering if there is a way to use Pixi as an OCR to detect letters printed on glass. I know it is a vision sensor and can be taught objects and different colors, but can it be taught to read words and detect only those words?

Hi Edgar,
Like you said, Pixy is more for detecting colored objects. OCR with Pixy is definitely possible, but you’d need to write your own OCR code into Pixy’s firmware, which is written mostly in C++. Feel free to ask us any questions to help you along this process. Good luck!
