i have two pixy

but, one pixy is have Bad pixel camera

Pixy another, the connection is No (firmware upgrade is complete)

Can you please elaborate on what you mean by “one pixy is have Bad pixel camera”?

Have basicaly the same problem with one of mine…

After using it like a charm for a while, it then begins to loop with the following message:

"
error: Unable to connect to device.
Pixy detected.
Pixy firmware version 0.1.44

error: Pixy has stopped working.
"

Have already reinstalled precedent firmware => same problem. Go back to 0.1.44 didn’t change anything.

But Pixy seems to run the default program, and still have the right signatures, as far as I can dig in the troubleshooting…

Whith precedent versions of Cmucam, we where able to reset Cmucam by an ascii command (“RS”)… to configure everything from those ascii commands without having to use a third party program like pixymon, by using a simple RS232 ComPort.

This is something that is missing for this version I think.

After having some more tests, I’m not sure that the default program is really running… Have tried to select an other program from the button sequence but doesn’t work… the sequence is like this:

Flash white for less than a second, then after a second, blink once white, then nothing else, even if I push the button. No red, orange led sequence as expected to choose another prog to run…
