Over the past couple weeks i have been working on a ping pong robot with vision control using cmucam5. I got some great results so i figured i would share it with the community. Right now i am able to auto aim and hit two target with a ping pong ball in under 5 seconds from about 5 feet away. The video is great as-is, but if there was some describing of the robot, how it works, it would help the viewer understand what’s happening. I showed my 10-year-old and he didn’t realize it was fully autonomous and had some questions about the ping-pong shooter, how it worked, questions I wasn’t sure about myself When I told him it was autonomous, it suddenly got even cooler!
