Hi guys, just got my pixy and am excited to try it… problem is, it isnt detected.
I get the red error
error: No Pixy devices have been detected.
I checked the device manager and it shows the pixy in there and says the device is working.
I tried to update the firmware also and the same result. Recognized in the device manager but not in pixymon.
Im on win 7 x64
No one else has run into this?
I had the exact same problem and swapping out the USB cable for a different one solved it. Apparently Pixy is sensitive to the voltage drop caused by longer or crappier cables.
its something to do with the laptop… works on my desktop
I had the same problem. I think I have it working; at least PixyMon shows video from the Pixy. I was looking over Device Manager and found that it was trying to use winusb. I downloaded zadig and switched it to libusb and it seems to at least have some life. I’ll probably look into how to program/use it in a few hours and let you know how it goes.
