Pixy Not Detected

Hey all, I am setting up PixyMon on a new computer to do some work with it. I’ve installed the software (version 1.0.2) and whatnot (libusb 1.0) on this system, running Win7 Pro 64 bit. The device is showing up fine in the device manager, but PixMon is not detecting it. Every time I run it, I get an error of

error: No Pixy devices have been detected.

I have run through the troubleshooter instructions, but it is still not being detected. I’ve tried multiple cables, reinstalling software and driver and yelling at it: no joy (the latter made me feel better, though). Any ideas?

This sounds like a USB controller issue like Renasas – see

Do you have another computer you can try?

I tried another computer/laptop as well, still not working

Hello James,
Can we start over? I’m not sure about the history of your Pixy’s problem and lots of things have changed in the last year. Please install the latest firmware and Pixymon:
