Pixy resolution

If the Pixy camera is processing 640x400 pixel frames as claimed, why, when I position a detect object at the right edge of the screen, does the ‘x + width’ never exceed about 340. It really appears the the actual resolution is much smaller. Is this the case?

Hello John,
The x and width values range between 0 and 319 and the y and height values range between 0 and 199. Pixy processes a 640x400 resolution frame but because of the color interpolation, the effective resolution is 320x200. Hope this helps!

Pixy’s image sensor outputs a raw RGB Bayer-filtered pixels:

It’s kind of like saying is 4:2:2 color, but the table above is only meant for YUV color spaces.
