I connect the Pixy2 camera via USB port to my computer and it turns blue, but the Pixymon program doesn’t see it, and it’s not visible in the Task Manager. We’ve changed the wires, and the Pixy is getting extremely hot. We’ve tried reinstalling the firmware following the instructions, but it just turns green and then nothing happens.

Sorry for the problems you’ve been having. So when you say your changed the wires, do you mean that you tried a different USB cable? Pixy’s CPU does get warm, which is normal. When you plug in Pixy, the LED immediately turns blue? What happens if you plug in Pixy, wait a few seconds and then hold down the button? As you keep the button held down, does it cycle through the colors (red, orange, green, …)?
