Servo issue

Hey,

I’ve had my Pixy for about a week know and the pan servo noticeably started getting very, very hot. Didn’t think much of it at the time, just used it in shorter bursts rather than leaving it plugged in or whatever, but this evening it just completely stopped working. Was wondering if there’s an issue with having an Arduino and a usb cable plugged in at the same time or did I just get a crappy servo from you?

Hmm. Haven’t seen/heard of this kind of problem before — this isn’t because of 2 USB cables… could be servo crappiness. When the servo was getting hot, was it making any noise? (just curious)

The only noise came from the servo trying to move, I think the heat melted some of the plastic gears which stopped them from spinning.
