I’m working on a project to build a system to detect whether there are sparks in a generator. There are also different colored sparks, so my question is: Can Pixy be used to detect the size, location, and color of the sparks?
I am planning to use Pixy with an Arduino Due connected to a touch screen.

It looks like you are just looking for bright spots in the image. You might take a look at the IR-lock firmware modification that does this.
