Stream pixy over Adafruit HUZZAH CC3000 WiFi sheild

Hi,

Would it be possible to send pixy image data via SPI to the Adafruit HUZZAH CC3000 WiFi shield and then to a mobile or laptop? Ive had a look into the drivers i would have to write, doesn’t look too complex, just fiddly.
The Pixy will have all other functionality not related to sending images over wifi disabled.

Am I overlooking something painfully obvious that means a resounding NO
?

Hello Joe,
Currently Pixy doesn’t have the firmware support for sending raw image data over SPI. It would tend to be pretty slow. Pixy supports sending raw image data over USB, which is how PixyMon is able to display video, but not the slower serial interfaces (SPI/UART/I2C).
