I am also in the endless cycle of “Pixy detected”, “Unable to connect to device”
I went through the troubleshooting. Pixy “working properly” in device manager. USB drivers up to date. Pls lmk next steps. Thank you.

I had the same problem they mentioned and what I did to fix it was to properly close the Pixymon, and safely eject the usb connector from the camera. I waited for it to tell me that it could be disconnected safely so I could disconnect the camera.
Then I opened Pixymon and reconnected the camera via USB and it worked normally.
